About

The Singapore Polo Club Outreach programme was established in 2016 with the purpose of using the Club’s unique facilities and resources to give back to the local community, in big and small ways.

Developing our own equine-assisted therapy programme to benefit the less fortunate, holding fundraisers to benefit IPC-status Singapore charities, and hosting a dog adoption drive on our polo field are just some of the initiatives we have undertaken.

In October 2023, we held our inaugural SPC Outreach Polo Tournament & Carnival to raise funds for our SPC Outreach Fund as well as for four beneficiaries: TOUCH Community Services, HCSA Community Services, Riding for the Disabled Association and EQUAL. Our Guest-of-Honour was Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Law.

Our second edition of the SPC Outreach Polo Tournament was held in September 2024, where we contributed $8,888 each to four new beneficiaries: Children’s Aid Society, Gateway Arts, Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) and SWAMI Home. Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development and Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration, was our Guest-of-Honour.

In 2025, our selected beneficiaries were Dementia Singapore, Gateway Arts, PERTAPIS Education & Welfare Centre, and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. We were deeply honoured to have Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong as our Guest-of-Honour for the occasion.

With the continued support of the Club and our members, we aim to make a meaningful impact in our community and hope to build a more compassionate and gracious environment at the Singapore Polo Club.
