With the increased number of imported cases of COVID-19 in Singapore, there have been a couple of clubs that have temporarily shut down due to confirmed cases of COVID-19 amongst their community. The Singapore Polo Club will be implementing strict precautionary measures as per the latest advisories from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
1. Prior to entry into the club, temperature screening and filling up of the Health & Travel Declaration form is compulsory for everyone. A QR code embedded form or hard copy declaration form is readily available at the guard house, front reception, polo & riding offices and the jackpot room.
2. Anyone who is serving a Leave of Absence (LOA), Stay-Home Notice (SHN) and Quarantine Order (QO) will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
3. Anyone who has travelled overseas or is in contact with a person issued with a Leave of Absence (LOA), or Stay-Home Notice (SHN) and Quarantine Order (QO) within the last 14 days is strongly advised to exercise social responsibility and refrain from visiting the club for the safety and health of others. Those feeling unwell (e.g. who has symptoms of flu, cough, sore throat or runny nose) are requested to leave the club immediately to seek medical assistance or to stay home to rest.
4. To better monitor the entry of members during this period, we will be locking the back gate leading to RDA with immediate effect. This is to ensure members and guests enter the club via the main entrance for compulsory temperature screening and filling up of the Health & Travel Declaration form.
The objective of the above measures is to limit any potential risk of spreading the COVID-19 to our members and staff and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone in the club. We seek everyone’s cooperation on being socially responsible and to refrain from visiting the club if unwell and to continue practicing good personal hygiene at all times.
